Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the Whave Water User Management System ("WUMS" or "the System"). By accessing or using WUMS, you agree to comply with these Terms and any applicable organizational policies.
1. Purpose of WUMS
WUMS is designed to support water-service administration, including water-user registration, connection management, consumption records, billing, payments, connection-fee records, geographic service management, reporting, and related operational functions.
2. Authorized use
Access to protected parts of WUMS is limited to authorized users. You must use the System only for legitimate, permitted water-service and administrative purposes and only within the permissions assigned to your account.
3. Accounts and authentication
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and authentication credentials. WUMS may support Google OAuth / Sign in with Google as an authentication method. Use of Google authentication is also subject to the applicable Google terms and policies.
You must not share access credentials, impersonate another user, attempt to bypass access controls, or permit unauthorized persons to use your account.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use WUMS for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes;
- access records or functions beyond your assigned permissions;
- attempt to disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, or compromise the System or its infrastructure;
- introduce malicious code or interfere with other users;
- misuse personal, payment, or operational information obtained through WUMS; or
- alter or falsify water-user, payment, billing, usage, or audit records without authorization.
5. Data accuracy
Users responsible for entering, importing, approving, or updating information should take reasonable steps to ensure that records are accurate and complete. Where errors are identified, they should be corrected through approved procedures and in a way that preserves required auditability.
6. Privacy
Our handling of personal information and Google user data is described in the WUMS Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, maintain, suspend, or modify WUMS to improve security, reliability, compliance, or functionality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability at all times.
8. Third-party services
WUMS may integrate with third-party services such as authentication providers, communications platforms, payment providers, or hosting services. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Intellectual property
WUMS, including its software, interfaces, branding, documentation, and related materials, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except where expressly permitted, no rights are granted to copy, distribute, resell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the System.
10. Suspension or termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where a user no longer requires access, violates these Terms, creates a security risk, or where suspension is otherwise necessary for operational, legal, or administrative reasons.
11. Disclaimer and limitation
WUMS is provided for operational support. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the System is provided without warranties beyond those expressly agreed in writing, and Whave is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized use, third-party outages, inaccurate data supplied by users or providers, or events beyond reasonable control.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in WUMS, applicable requirements, or operational practices. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
